Advanced Manufacturer Expands in Sutton with Government Incentives Secured by BDS
Advanced manufacturing in Central Massachusetts will take a leap forward when the global metal industry manufacturer, Primetals Technologies, Ltd., constructs its new corporate headquarters, research and development, and manufacturing facility in Sutton. The $28 million project will be built with assistance from a package of government tax incentives secured with help from Business Development Strategies, Inc. (BDS).
The Company plans to construct a new 183,000 square foot facility with the capacity to accommodate its future growth. Serving companies around the world whose products range from coat hangers to the Golden Gate Bridge, Primetals is a respected industry pioneer with a reputation for providing metals industry customers with cutting-edge solutions to their production needs.
“Lynn Tokarczyk and the BDS team are seasoned tax incentive consultants and came highly recommended to us,” states Primetals Vice President & Global Head Michael Eldredge. “They were able to guide Primetals through the process and achieve outstanding results.”
“The local officials and residents of Sutton recognized the value of bringing Primetals to Town and expedited the process to meet the Company’s timeline,” Tokarczyk says. “The Town moved quickly to set up a Special Town Meeting and the voters came out and overwhelmingly voted to approve the tax incentive for Primetals.
